DETROIT - Wayne State senior forward Stavros Paskaris (Dearborn, Mich./Kewadin Indians) was named the College Hockey America Offensive Player of the Week after his performance in last weekend's final home series against Niagara.

Paskaris extended his career-best eight-game point streak, which also ties a school record, with four assists on the weekend. He earned a helper on the game-winning goal in Friday's 3-2 overtime victory, and matched his career-high with three assists - all on power-play tallies - in Saturday's finale.

Paskaris had an even plus/minus rating for the series, totaled eight shots on goal and won 25 faceoffs.

The Warriors will head to the College Hockey America Tournament next weekend at Niagara and face Alabama-Huntsville in the quarterfinal on Friday, March 14 at 7:05 p.m. ET. Fans can listen to the game on Teamline streaming audio or watch the webcast via B2 Networks.
